Movida is a hyperlocal social event discovery platform. You find nearby events on an interactive map, book them, and leave reviews. The platform is available at movida-app.com.
Movida connects attendees with event organisers and leaders. We provide the platform and tools. We do not organise, host, or run the events listed on Movida.
By accessing or using Movida, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the service. These terms apply to all visitors, attendees, organisers, and leaders on the platform.
You can create an account using your email address and password, or by signing in with Google or Facebook. To create an account, you must be at least 16 years old.

Event bookings on Movida are processed through Stripe. Prices are set by event organisers and leaders, not by Movida. When you book an event, you enter into a direct agreement with the event organiser. Movida acts as an intermediary to facilitate the booking and payment.
Cancellation and refund policy:
Movida is not responsible for the fulfilment of events. Any disputes about event quality or delivery should be directed to the event organiser first.
You may submit reviews and ratings for events you have attended. You retain ownership of the content you create. By posting content on Movida, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to display, distribute, and adapt your content as needed to operate and improve the service.

Movida reserves the right to remove content that violates these terms, without prior notice.
Event organisers and leaders are responsible for the accuracy, completeness, and legality of their listings. This includes event descriptions, pricing, schedules, and any requirements for attendees.
Movida does not verify, endorse, or guarantee the quality, safety, or legality of any listed event. Movida is not a party to agreements between attendees and event organisers.

The Movida platform, including its design, branding, logo, software, and original content, is owned by Movida and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the platform without our written permission.
Map data displayed on Movida is provided by OpenStreetMap contributors and is available under the Open Data Commons Open Database Licence (ODbL).
Movida is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.
Movida is not liable for the events listed on the platform, their quality, safety, or the actions or omissions of other users, organisers, or leaders.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Movida's total liability to you for any claims arising from or relating to your use of the service is limited to the total fees you paid to Movida in the 12 months preceding the claim.
Movida is not liable for any failure or delay in performance caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, acts of government, internet outages, or third-party service failures.
You may delete your account at any time. Movida may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms, engage in prohibited conduct, or if we reasonably believe your account poses a risk to other users or the platform.
Upon termination, the following provisions survive: intellectual property rights, limitation of liability, governing law, and any obligations that by their nature should continue beyond termination.
These Terms of Use are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Poland. Any disputes arising from or relating to these terms or your use of Movida shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Poland.
If you are a consumer residing in the European Union, you may also make use of the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform at https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
We may update these Terms of Use from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you through the platform or by email. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
Your continued use of Movida after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
